After North India, it’s time for Central parts to enjoy the first taste of winter this season. In the absence of any western disturbance and persistent cold winds blowing across North India, minimums have been below 10 degrees.
Since last 2 days, night temperatures in Amritsar, Narnaul and Churu have been hovering around 6 degrees. Here's a look at the temperatures on the 18th and 19th of November in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan.

After Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi, it’s now time for Central India to witness single digit temperatures. In fact, Khajuraho was the coldest city across the plains of India as it recorded just 5.5 degrees today morning.
Minimums Across Central India
There are feeble western disturbances in the extreme higher reaches but they haven’t tracked down to North India. Consequently, Delhi has been dry for the entire month. Amritsar and other places in North India have not received any rain in last 10 to 11 days, leading to below normal temperatures. No weather system likely to affect North, East and Central India in the coming 4 to 5 days as well.
