The state of Rajasthan has seen Monsoon withdrawal from most parts and temperatures are now witnessing a change. In fact, as far as the minimums are concerned, Sikar has recorded its first under 15 degree minimum today, settling at 14.5 degrees. This is also the country's first under 15-degree minimum so far.
Nip in the air persists during the morning hours over many parts of Rajasthan. Most stations seeing 1-2 degrees below normal. In fact, the minimum in Alwar is 3 degrees below normal, while Churu and Bhilwara have minimums settling 2 degrees below normal
The reason is that the Anti Cyclone is well-marked over Rajasthan, and thus, the wind pattern is changing. This trend of below normal minimums is expected to continue in the coming days. Moreover, a feeble Western Disturbance is expected around 7-8th. A more significant drop is likely after its passage.
Days are going to be warm and even hot in some parts. Western parts usually see a second summer and day temperatures remain high over Phalodi, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jodhpur etc., sometimes even touching 40 degrees. Evenings and nights will be pleasant over the state.
