The hilly states of North India have had a good Monsoon run this time. However, rainfall activity has sort of taken a backseat during the past few days. Some areas have been receiving rainfall activities but these showers have been patchy in nature and heavy showers have been in hiding for long.
However, the hills of North India are in for a treat during the coming days as good showers are all set to lash the region. The entire Northern Hills including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand will witness good rains.
These rainfall activities are expected to occur due to the fresh Western Disturbance which is over Jammu and Kashmir along with the combination of the axis of Monsoon trough which will shift northward towards the foothills of Himalayas.
