Dry and cold northwesterly winds have been blowing down the slopes of mountains and sweeping plains of North India, including Delhi. A western disturbance has arrived over the mountains and will increase the spread of weather activity over the next two days. Another western disturbance will follow in quick succession between the 04th and 06th Jan 2025. This weather system may leave some trail of activity in the northern plains also. Passage of these systems will lead to a rise in the minimum temperatures over the next few days. Even, the day temperatures may also have a rising tendency.  As an offshoot of the increased weather activity around the weekend over the plains, Delhi also may find light rain on the 05th/06th Jan 2025.
