Delhi may witness various shades of weather in coming days. Cold day conditions continued over Delhi and NCR until January 26th. Fog along with obscured skies did not allow sun rays to penetrate up to the surface of the earth.
Moderate to strong surface wind along the Indo Gangetic plains are blowing since January 27. Fog has lifted and sky is almost clear. Day temperatures have increased due to bright sunshine and there is a relief from chilly cold weather during daytime.
Minimum temperatures are still below normal. The fresh Western disturbance which is likely to impact Western Himalayas February 2nd onward will once again increase the minimums over northwest India including Delhi NCR. Minimums of Delhi may come in double digit around 10 or 11 degrees.
There are chances of scattered rain on February 3rd and 4th. After the passage of Western disturbance and caseation rain activities, minimum temperatures of Delhi may once again start dropping leading to winter chill during morning and night hours.
