These rains over parts of state can be attributed to a cyclonic circulation over East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh and Madhya Maharashtra. This circulation is expected to shift towards northwest over Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan region but will remain in close proximity to parts of Gujarat.
Moreover, a Western Disturbance is also passing through North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir region. The interaction of both these systems is likely to give scattered showers over Gujarat region along with some light to moderate spells over Saurashtra and Kutch region for next 2-3 days.
