As predicted. Delhi rains have once again made a comeback on Tuesday afternoon. Few places such as Mayur Vihar, Akshardham, IP Extension and Laxmi Nagar have reported good rains. In fact, nearby areas of Faridabad, Gurgaon and Noida have also recorded rains.
This has made weather extremely pleasant over the national capital, with temperatures dropping around 33°C. We expect, mercury to plunge further now. Now, the good news is that the rains are here to stay for another 3-4 days.

According to Skymet Weather, the Monsoon trough which was running north of Delhi has now gradually start shifting southwards. The trough is presently passing near Delhi and nearby areas.
Moreover, the cyclonic circulation over East Uttar Pradesh and adjoining Bihar has also intensified into a low pressure area. The system will also move in westerly direction.

Besides this, a fresh Western Disturbance has also started affecting Jammu and Kashmir. All these weather systems combined will lead to commencement of a fresh spell of rains over Delhi-NCR Wednesday onwards.
Like the spell during the last week of June, this will also be a prolonged rainy spell. Intensity of rains will vary from light to moderate rains and thundershowers with one or two heavy spells in between.
For the next few days, sky conditions would remain mainly cloudy, returning of comfortable weather conditions over the city.
Delhi-NCR had been battling extremely humid and scorching weather for the last 3-4 days.
