Bangalore weather had turned pleasant as Cyclone Roanu had resulted in good rains over the capital city of Karnataka on May 18 and 19. The city recorded a whopping 64 mm rain in just two days. In fact, the maximum temperature had come down below the 30-degree mark.
However, Bangalore has remained dry for the past few days. Temperatures have also witnessed a significant rise and the mercury is currently settling at 34.1 degrees. Some good news awaits Bangalore as Pre-Monsoon rains are all set to lash the silicon city soon.
A feeble trough is running across the West Coast. Also, southwesterly winds from the Arabian Sea will start becoming prominent and bring moisture over the region resulting in cloud formation.
While rains are expected to pick up pace in Bangalore around May 27 and 28, the possibility of isolated thunderstorm activity during the next two to three days cannot be ruled out. Starting May 28, good showers will lash Bangalore and these rains are expected to continue until the end of May. In fact, June could also begin on a rainy note for Bangalore.
During this time, both maximum and minimum temperatures will witness a drop. In fact, Bangalore weather may become pleasant once again.
