The state of Telangana has been seeing intense rains with some very heavy showers in the past five days. In fact, yesterday, the state of Telangana was in excess by 1096 percent. The day before the state saw intense rains with the surplus being at 246 percent.
In the last 24 hours also, some parts of Telangana did see some moderate to heavy rains with isolated very heavy rains wherein Nizamabad recorded 134 mm of rains, Adilabad 62mm of rains, and Medak 40 mm.
Now, rainfall activity will see a visible improvement over the state and relief for the state will remain in sight for the next few days as well. We can safely say that the worst for the state is over for now and for the next one week or so, we can focus on the recovery operations with rains not hampering any relief operations.
