Rajasthan will soon get some relief from the ongoing heatwave conditions. The temperatures are likely to settle below the 45°C mark. However, these heatwave conditions are now confined to extreme West Rajasthan.
Major parts of the state have already seen a drop in mercury and temperatures have settled around 40°C. However, there are still some pockets of the state that are suffering from heatwave conditions.
Here's a look at the temperatures recorded in most pockets of Rajasthan suffering from heatwave conditions, during last 24 hours, from 08:30 am on Tuesday:
As per Skymet Weather, heatwave conditions in Rajasthan are likely to last for one or two days. Thereafter marginal relief is expected in the state. Moist winds penetrating from the Arabian Sea and good showers in Central and northern Pakistan on Tuesday, may cause a drop in temperatures over the state. This might also lead to abatement of heatwave conditions prevailing in Rajasthan.
Light to moderate rain and thundershowers are expected over Ajmer, Alwar, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Dausa, Dholpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Karauli, Kota and Sawai Madhopur districts of Rajasthan. Strong average winds of 40 kmph gusting at 60 kmph during the next 4 to 6 hours is also predicted in parts of the state.
