The state of Kerala due to continuous rainfall activity over the region has been battling flooding conditions in many parts. Numerous weather systems have resulted in rains lashing God’s own country.

In the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Monday, Kozhikode recorded 63 mm of rains, Alappuzha 38 mm, Punalur 32 mm, Kochi 25 mm, Karipur 31 mm, Thiruvananthapuram 21 mm, and Kannur 16 mm.

These rainfall activities are expected to slow down in the coming days. In fact, relief is on the cards for the state of Kerala from the ongoing flood situation as rainfall activity will reduce to quite an extent.

A low pressure is over the western coast, but the system is over Karnataka and adjoining areas, which is why rains over Kerala will not be heavy at all. For the next two to three days, one can expect rainfall activity to see a reduction, which will be a boon for the residents of Kerala who have been battling these flood conditions for quite some time now.
