Since the last many days, weather of Telangana is running dry and very hot. Heat wave conditions are prevailing over many parts of the state.
Andhra Pradesh is also experiencing hot weather conditions. However, isolated rain activities are going on over coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh, particularly North Coastal Andhra Pradesh. These on and off rains are continuing since the last two to three days which has kept the temperatures under check over coastal areas. However, Rayalaseema is still very hot. Here one or two places have even reported heat wave conditions.
At present, a weather system in the form of a trough is extending from eastern parts of Bihar to South Interior Karnataka while passing through Odisha and southern parts of Telangana. Therefore, we expect scattered rains and thundershower activities to continue over coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh for the next two to three days.

Weather of Telangana on the other hand will continue to remain almost dry. However, light rains at one or two places in eastern and southern districts might be a possibility.
Thus, the temperatures of Andhra Pradesh, particularly over the coastal districts will remain near normal.
But heat wave will continue over many parts of Telangana during the next 3 to 4 days, despite the light rain activity as these rains will be very light and will only affect during late evenings. Until then the maximums would have risen considerably. Also, the rain deficiency will continue to persist over Telangana.
