The state of Rajasthan has been witnessing warm and dry weather conditions since past many days. In fact, it is just the third week of February and temperatures have already climbed 8 degrees above normal.
The increase in temperature levels can be credited to a cyclonic circulation over the region. In wake of this, warm and humid southwesterly winds from Arabian Sea were blowing across the region, aiding both maximum and minimums to settle above normal by 5 to 7 degrees.
Usually during this time of the year, temperatures do not soar up to this level and the prevailing summer like weather conditions hardly occurs.
As per Skymet Weather, the system has moved away, thus change in wind pattern will make way over the region. Dry and cold northwesterly winds will once again start blowing over the region, leading to significant decrease in temperature profile.
Thus, some relief is in sight for the residents of the state from the prevailing warm and uneasy weather conditions. This relief is expected during next 24 hours, so days that were unpredictably hot and uneasy and nights that were warm and uncomfortable will take a turn to warm days and comfortable nights.
