A low-pressure area is currently over Northwest Bay of Bengal. Also, the trough line which was over Northwest Madhya Pradesh is expected to shift northwards in proximity of Bihar and Jharkhand.
Due to this movement, rainfall activity is expected to increase over Jharkhand as well as South Bihar during the next 24 hours. Good rains will persist over Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Gaya, Patna and other parts.
However, during the next 24 hours rest of Bihar will only witness light rains. The rainfall activity over these areas will increase after 24 hours. Due to the upcoming rains, the temperatures will also witness a decrease.
