The northern parts of Rajasthan have been witnessing light rains at its many places since the last 24 hours. The reason being, a Western Disturbance over North Pakistan and its adjoining Jammu and Kashmir as well as an induced Cyclonic Circulation over Northwest Rajasthan and adjoining Punjab.
According to past 24 hours data, Jaisalmer has recorded 6.8 mm of rainfall, followed by Churu 1.9 mm, Bikaner 1 mm, Ajmer 0.5 mm and Jaipur 0.3 mm.
In wake of increased cloud cover and subsequent rains, the day temperatures have decreased over several parts of Rajasthan.
According to Skymet Weather, now as both the systems are moving slowly in east northeast directions, the northern parts of Rajasthan will witness light rains during next 18 to 24 hours, wherein places like Alwar, Churu, Sri Ganganagar, Pilani, Dholpur and Dausa will be the ones to see rains. In addition to these rains, some hailstorm activities are also likely which may lead to some crop loss.
After 24 hours, rains will start vacating the state and March 4 onward, we expect weather to go completely dry once again.
Moreover, these activities will cause the day temperatures to increase and settle around 24℃, while night temperatures to fall and hover around 10℃ over the northern parts of Rajasthan.
