Temperatures over the state of Rajasthan are decreasing since the last two-three days. Moreover, some parts of North and West Rajasthan have already come under the effect of cold wave condition. In fact, almost all the cities of Rajasthan are observing below normal minimums since the last few days.
The below table records minimum temperatures observed in various cities of the state in the last 24 hours -
Now, cold winds from north and northeast direction will continue over the entire state of Rajasthan for the next three-four days. This will lead to some more parts of east and south Rajasthan to get affected by cold wave conditions. Nights will be very cold; however, days will remain sunny and comfortable.
Places like Churu and Hanumangarh are likely to observe very cold nights due to the blowing dry winds. The intensity of fog is also expected to gradually decrease from northern and western parts of Rajasthan.
Moderate to dense fog was observed over northern and western parts of Rajasthan on December 23 and 24. Since then the fog intensity is on a decrease. Now, we don’t expect any more fog over the state.
