Rajasthan rains to remain on the backseat for some time

The entire state of Rajasthan had a good run with rains during the past few days. So much so that a few heavy spells of rainfall were also witnessed over some parts of Rajasthan.

In fact, due to heavy rainfall in Rajasthan during the month of June both East and the West Rajasthan region have been observing rainfall surplus.

At present, West Rajasthan is largely excess in terms of rain at 140%. On the other hand, East Rajasthan is witnessing a rainfall surplus of 31%.

These rains have been attributed to the presence of back to back weather systems over the Rajasthan region. However, rainfall activity has now taken a backseat in the last 48 hours and dry weather has taken over. So much so that the entire state of Rajasthan remained dry during the last 24 hours.

As for Skymet Weather, both the east and the west regions of Rajasthan are expected to remain dry during the next 24 to 48 hours.

The possibility of isolated light rain over some parts cannot be ruled out however the chances of good rainfall are completely ruled out from the state.

With this, uncomfortable and an easy conditions could make a comeback over the region as due to absence of any weather activity temperatures may witness arise.
