In the absence of any significant weather system, dry northerly winds continue to blow over most parts of Rajasthan thereby making the weather dry and warm over the entire state.
This dry and warm weather also has led night and day temperatures to drop gradually over most parts of the state.
At present, citizens of Rajasthan are experiencing normal temperatures. However, a change is expected over Southern and Central parts of the states in the coming days.
The dry northerly winds which are currently blowing over the state will be replaced by warm and moist easterly winds. As a result, apart from extreme North Rajasthan, night temperatures will stop dropping over most of the parts while day temperatures will show a marginal increase.
Generally, the presence of a strong Western Disturbance with an induced low-pressure area over Central Pakistan and adjoining Rajasthan result in rains over the state during this season.
However, at present, neither any significant Western Disturbance is present, nor any induced pressure has taken a form. Hence, dry weather is continuing over the state.
However, around November 27, we expect a Western Disturbance to approach North Pakistan and adjoining areas, but it will not affect the areas in the form of rains.
Around November 28 and 29, a rise in temperatures with a few clouds is possible.
Talking about the city- Gujarat, dry weather continues over the state except over a few isolated pockets of coastal South Gujarat which had experienced a few drops of rains last week.
At present, the temperatures are close to normal. Moreover, during the last 24 hours, temperatures have dropped 2℃-3℃ over Kutch and North Gujarat.
However, a change in wind pattern is expected in the coming days. Initially, light winds will blow over the state, but no sooner these will become easterly and north easterly.
Consequently, a rise in temperature is expected with little haziness during morning hours. Pockets of Coastal areas may experience some patchy fog. However, days will remain clear and slightly warm.
