The city of Mumbai has been receiving rains for the past few days on an on and off basis. Rainfall activity has been moderate in nature in most places with heavier showers in some areas. Moreover, the suburbs of Mumbai have been witnessing heavy showers.
The city of Mumbai has seen heavy rainfall activities in some parts while others have seen only moderate showers itself. In the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Thursday, Santa Cruz in Mumbai saw 44 mm of rains while Colaba on the other hand only recorded 17 mm of rainfall.
Today also, the city has seen some rains in between and sky conditions have remained cloudy in the second half. Moreover, the city is expected to see moderate rains with isolated heavy showers during the evening hours.
Moreover, tomorrow and day after tomorrow will also be seeing moderate to heavy showers, being mostly moderate in most parts of the city. However, there still remains a possibility if a few sharp showers during this time.
Thus, in a nutshell, the weekend is expected to be a rainy one with the city witnessing moderate rainfall activity with some parts observing heavy showers. Many areas will be water logged.
