Weather of Central India especially over Vidarbha has been dry since last many days. The temperatures registered were above normal over the region. Temperatures of many parts of Vidarbha and Madhya Pradesh reached higher parts of 30°Cs, somewhere between 36-38°C which made the weather uneasy for the region.
Now a Wind Discontinuity is developing from Chhattisgarh to Karnataka across Southeast Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha. Meteorologists at Skymet Weather expect humid winds from Southwest direction coming from Arabia Sea and Southeasterly winds from Bay of Bengal to converge over the region.
Due to which we can expect development over convective clouds around March 6 & 7. Such clouds bore moisture allowing scattered rain and thundershowers to occur over these areas. Even isolated spells of hailstorm cannot be ruled out. These unseasonal rains are expected to resurface around March 10 & 12 as well. So we can say that next week is going to be rainy for many areas of Central India.
Temperatures are expected to come down but minimums will rise marginally. Such rise in minimum temperatures is expected due to cloud cover over the area.
