South Peninsula has seen some scanty rainfall activities in the past couple of days. A Cyclonic Circulation is over Lakshadweep and adjoining areas. The system over the Gulf of Mannar also persists with a trough extending from Rayalaseema
Rains are likely over Kerala today and tomorrow, last 24 hours have also seen some isolated spells here and there. Moderate rains are likely with isolated heavy spells both today as well as tomorrow.
Rains will thereafter continue but the intensity will reduce to quite an extent. Rainfall activity is expected to pick up again by the weekend, which is around October 16th and 17th. Moreover, Kerala is expected to see a rainy week ahead with rains of varied intensity.
