As reiterated by Skymet Weather, Delhi-NCR is all set to witness a rainy Sunday. Weather conditions have started becoming conducive for the weather activity as the sky has already become partly cloudy to cloudy.
As per the weathermen, these approaching rains can be attributed the Western Disturbance over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir, which has also induced a cyclonic circulation over Central Pakistan and adjoining areas.
Besides this, warm and humid southwesterly or southerly winds from Arabian Sea have been blowing over the northwestern plains.
Both the systems will continue to move eastwards and with this, we can expect rain and thundershowers over the national capital on Sunday.
These approaching rains are also likely to reduce both the maximum and minimum temperatures, which will then start crawling back to normal.
For the past one week, the city has been witnessing warm weather conditions, wherein day maximums and night temperatures have been settling several notches above normal average temperatures.
Following are the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded on Friday.
We do not expect any change in the temperature profile on Saturday. Mercury will continue to increase by 1-2 degrees and on Saturday, weathermen predict that day maximum in Delhi may cross 24°C as well.
