Vaishno Devi had been enjoying pleasant weather conditions for the past few days. In fact, the auspicious occasion of Navratri remained dry for the region resulting in more footfall over the holy shrine of North India. However, as Navratri comes to an end, rain gods are likely to make an appearance once again.
A fresh Western Disturbance is currently over Jammu and Kashmir and its adjoining areas. This weather system has begun to affect the weather over the hills of North India and parts of Jammu and Kashmir as well as Himachal Pradesh have already begun to witness rain and thundershowers.
In the wake of this system, the hilly regions of Vaishno Devi are expected to witness rain today onward. So much so that, the holy shrine is expected to witness a rainy Rama Navami this year. Not only this, rain and thundershowers are expected to continue over Vaishno Devi during the next 2 days or so.
Thereafter, the weather conditions will clear up over the hills of North India. This is considered to be one of the most auspicious periods for visitors to pay a visit to this holy shrine of North India. Tourists from all across the country and even from other parts of the world.
