The state of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have been seeing rainfall of varied intensity for quite some time now. Even now, due to presence of trough along with the axis of Monsoon trough over western parts of Bihar, light to moderate rains will continue over the state of Bihar.
In fact, cities of Gaya, Aurangabad, Buxar, Patna, Jehanabad, Chhapra, Nawada may see moderate rainy spells. Meanwhile, eastern parts are expected to see light rains. Weather conditions will remain warm and humid with cloudy sky conditions.
Talking about the state of Uttar Pradesh, the axis of Monsoon trough is passing along the foothills across northern parts of Uttar Pradesh. Due to presence of this system, moderate rains at some parts with heavy showers in a few areas will continue during next 24 hours.
Since, the axis of Monsoon trough is likely to shift southward, hence, rainfall activity will also shift towards southern parts of Uttar Pradesh after 24 hours.
Temperatures are likely to witness a decrease over South Uttar Pradesh while marginal increase in the same is expected over North Uttar Pradesh.
Cities of Gorakhpur, Bahraich, Balrampur, Bijnor, Sitapur and Pilibhit may see heavy rains while cities of Allahabad, Varanasi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Banda, Chitrakoot, and Kaushambi may see moderate spells of rains.
