The states of Bihar, and Jharkhand have been deficient by more than 40 percent. Moreover, rainfall activity has been mostly absent from these states. However, rainfall activity is expected to make a come back over Jharkhand Bihar as well as West Bengal as the low pressure is moving north-eastwards and the weakened circulation will shift towards West Bengal and adjoining areas.
West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand will see moderate showers between tomorrow and August 2 which will bring that much-needed relief for the residents. Thereafter, between August 3 and 6, intensity will pick up wherein some heavy rainfall activity can also be observed in some of these areas
Also, the Monsoon trough will shift north of its normal position running across these states around the first week of August which will further increase rains over these areas.
