The Indo Gangetic Plains will be witnessing dry weather conditions and temperatures may rise for the next two days, particularly until May 21. However, dry days will take a break after that and rainy days will make an appearance.
A trough will be extending from Punjab up to West Uttar Pradesh, leading to isolated rains and thunderstorm as well as dust storm activities over Punjab, Haryana, Northwest Rajasthan, Delhi, western parts of Uttar Pradesh and North Madhya Pradesh.
Weather activities will intensify on May 23 and widespread rain and thundershowers will be seen from May 24, covering parts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha, continuing until the end of May. Isolated hailstorms cannot be ruled out and there may be isolated heavy spells of rain as well.
