Meanwhile, parts of Telangana have also been witnessing scattered rains. Talking particularly about the city of Hyderabad, it received moderate spells of rain and thundershower activity. During the last 24 hours, it recorded 12.6 mm of rain.

The main reason for this reduction in rain activity can be attributed to the shifting of the trough from Coastal Andhra Pradesh to Telangana. Meanwhile, for the next 24-48 hours, we still expect light rains to continue over parts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh.

However, the interior parts of Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema are expected to remain dry. Yesterday, maximum temperatures observed over Andhra Pradesh were as follows: Anantapur 38.8°C, Cuddappah34.5°C, Kakinada 34.8°C, Kalingapatnam 31.7°C, Kurnool and Nellore 35.2°C, Ongole 32.8°C and Tirupathi37.3°C.

Meanwhile, the cities in Telangana were seen recording maximum temperatures as follows: Hanamkonda34.0°C, Nizamabad 38.4°C and Ramagundam 36.8°C.

Now the weather conditions over Hyderabad along with the entire state of Telangana are expected to go dry. But isolated thunderstorm activity may occur over these areas.

The weather is expected to become very warm over Telangana and these hot weather conditions are expected to continue for the next two to three days. Coastal Andhra Pradesh will see maximum temperatures in lower 30s and Telangana will be very warm with maximum temperatures in high 30s.
