As per Skymet Weather, these rains can be attributed to a cyclonic circulation that is over central parts of Pakistan and adjoining areas. Moreover, a trough in mean sea level is also seen extending from Rajasthan to northwest Bay of Bengal across the central parts of the country.

In the wake of this, rain and thundershowers are likely to continue over North and East Rajasthan and areas like Jaipur, Alwar, Pali, Kota, Dausa, Churu, and Bundi may get to see some scattered moderate showers.
However, 24 hours hence, as the trough will shift towards the north, rains are expected to reduce over most parts of the desert state barring the North and Eastern region that may continue with showers for the next 48 hours.
