The reason behind these rain and thundershowers can be attributed to the trough that is extending from North Interior Karnataka up to Tamil Nadu. In wake of these systems, warm and moist winds are prevailing over the region that will continue to give light to moderate rains in pockets for the next 2 to 3 days.
So, morning and nights will remain pleasant, with humid days. The sky is likely to remain cloudy over the region. Maximum temperatures will settle around 28-29 degrees and minimums will hover near 20-21 degrees.
