Rains to now remain confined to Kerala for a while

The southern parts of the country have been seeing some rainfall activities in the past few days. Today, parts of South Interior Karnataka, Interior parts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala will be the ones seeing these rains.

Tomorrow onward, rainfall activity will be confined to Kerala, the entire stretch but moderate rain for the next 4-5 days and reduce significantly from the other parts.

Rains are expected to pick up after a short breather in between as that will also indicate the arrival of the Northeast Monsoon. Conditions are now becoming conducive for the Northeast Monsoon, the normal date of which is October 20.
