The city of Mumbai has received light rains during the last 24 hours. In fact, light has been going on over Mumbai for last many days. Now also, we do not expect much increase in these rain activities over the city. There may be one or two short spells of rain today as well. But the weather will once again go dry from tomorrow onwards over Mumbai.
Talking about other parts of the state, now the rain activities have also decreased over interior parts of Maharashtra particularly Vidarbha and Marathwada and Madhya Maharashtra. At present, a Low-Pressure Area is over Northeast Madhya Pradesh and it will move further in Northwest direction. Therefore, we do not expect much increase in this rain activities over Maharashtra.
