Rains to lash parts of Bihar

The state of Bihar has been the most defciient pocket during the Monsoon season as far as the plains are concerned with 31 percent deficiency. Otherwise, Manipur was the lowest at 48 percent deficiency.

After the process of withdrawal began, there have been some rains. Reason for rains is the systems in the Bay of Bengal. A well marked merged Cyclonic Circulation is over Bay of Bengal which will result in good rains.

Today, Seemanchal region of Bihar including Kishanganj, Katihar, Purnea and Araria will be seeing rains and showers will be confined here. By tomorrow, rains will be seen along the foothills as well right from Champaran, Sitamarhi, Madhepura, Supaul, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Gopalganj. These regions may see heavy rains.

Cities of Patna, and Gaya may see lighter rains. By day after tomorrow, rain belt will shift towards the Uttar Pradesh region.
