As per Skymet Weather, a cyclonic circulation is seen over Northeast Rajasthan. Moreover, a trough is also seen extending from this system up to East Assam across Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Due to these weather systems, light to moderate rain and thundershower activities along with chances of heavy spells are possible to continue over Lucknow, Bareilly, Varanasi, Meerut, Allahabad and Gorakhpur during the next 24 to 48 hours.
This will lead to an increase in the rain activity within the next 24 to 48 hours. Thereafter, this trough is likely to shift gradually towards North and may reach closer to the foothills of Uttar Pradesh. But rains will keep pouring over these regions.
