In the last 24 hours also, Hyderabad recorded light rainfall activity to the tune of 0.5 mm.
Other cities like, Ramagundam also recorded 2 mm of rain.
Monsoon usually covers Telangana between June 5 and June 10. Rains also increase around four time during the month of June. Average rainfall for the month of Jun is 111.2 mm.
However, now we expect rains to increase over Hyderabad and Telangana. On June 6 and June 7, few moderate showers are possible, and one or two places of the state may also receive heavy rainfall activity.
Further, a cyclonic circulation is likely to form over Vidarbha around June 6 which will be instrumental for increased enhancement of rainfall.
Talking about the temperatures, yesterday Hyderabad recorded its maximum temperature at 37.8 which was below normal by 1 degree. Temperatures are also expected fall by two to three degrees and give relief from ongoing hot weather conditions.
Thus, we can say that rains are likely to continue and increase further.
