As per Skymet Weather, due to a series of Western Disturbances affecting the hilly state of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, moderate rains have occurred over these districts of the hills of North India.

Despite moderate showers, Udhampur witnessed landslide that has blocked the Jammu-Srinagar highway. Moreover, as these series of Western Disturbance is expected to keep occurring, rains are expected to continue over the tri-state of northern hills for two to three days and similar weather will continue. Hence, there will seldom be dry days for these states for at least this week.

Though rains will not be heavy, chances of landslides may lessen but cannot be ruled out. However, due to the lesser chances of development of convective clouds, the possibility of cloud bursts are not foreseen.
