The northern parts of the country including the hills and the plains have been observing pre-monsoon weather activities for the past many days and such a situation is expected to continue even now.
During the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Tuesday, Hisar recorded 42 mm of rain, Banihal 24 mm, Ludhiana 30 mm, Dehradun 26 mm, Dharamsala 17 mm, Una 17 mm, Delhi 19 mm.
Moderate showers may be seen today over the hills as well as the foothills and may continue. Even the entire state of Punjab as well as Haryana may see showers today as well as tomorrow. Tomorrow, the spread will increase but the intensity will reduce.
On and off activities will continue especially over Rajasthan and adjoining areas. Large clearance is not likely anytime soon. This spell has been long and unusual as back to back systems have been giving rain continuously.
A Disturbance is over the hills and another one is coming tomorrow, due to which rains and hailstorm may be seen over the hills as well as the foothills.
