In the last 24 hours from 08:30 am on Monday, Titlagarh recorded 30 mm of rains, Tuni 21 mm, Sundergarh 10 mm, Vijayawada 7 mm, and Kakinada witnessed light rains of 2 mm.
As per Skymet Weather, these rains can be attributed to the movement of the depression which became a well-marked low after passing the Bangladesh coast yesterday. This well-marked low is now moving in a north-northeast direction towards the Northeastern states of the country.
