The southern parts of the country have been seeing some rains, particularly Tamil Nadu. In the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Sunday, Coonoor recorded 40 mm of rains, Kodaikanal 52 mm, Bengaluru 14 mm.
Now also, rains are expected to continue over Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and parts of Karnataka for the next few days. In the state of Tamil Nadu, cities of Dharmapuri, Coimbatore, Madurai, Ooty, Kodaikanal, Thanjavur, Trichy etc. will see rains. For Kerala, Punalur, Thrissur, Kochi, Kannur, Alappuzha, Palakkad, Kozhikode etc. will be the ones seeing good showers
Coastal Karnataka including Mangalore will also observe rains. For South Interior Karnataka, Bengaluru, Mysore Mandya, and Hasan will be the ones seeing showers.
