Meanwhile, districts like Malegaon, Jalgaon, Aurangabad Ahmednagar, Pune, and Mumbai would continue to reel under hot and dry weather conditions and sunny skies.
The reason for these rains would be an upper air trough which is extending from South Madhya Maharashtra to the western parts of Madhya Pradesh across Madhya Maharashtra.
Simultaneously, an anti-cyclonic circulation also lies over the west-central Bay of Bengal off North Andhra Pradesh coast. This would also result in the prevalence of warm and moist winds over the region which would trigger for some more light rain and thundershowers at scattered places over Vidarbha and Marathwada during the next 24 to 36 hours.
Thereafter, the intensity of these pre-Monsoon rains would decrease resulting in the maximums to rise again.
