Rains to continue in many parts of Madhya Pradesh

Rains over the state of Madhya Pradesh began a couple of days ago, and as reiterated by meteorologists at Skymet Weather, rainfall activities have increased now.

Moreover, in the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Tuesday, Sagar saw 14 mm, Nowgong, Satna, and Rewa saw 1 mm of rains. Meanwhile, Siddhi, Umaria and Bhopal saw traces of rains.

At present, a Confluence Zone is persisting over Madhya Pradesh. Also, northwesterly cold and dry winds are merging with southeasterly winds from Bay of Bengal. Thus, we expect rainfall activities to continue over parts of Madhya Pradesh. However, rains will now be confined to eastern and southern districts adjacent to Vidarbha.

Cities of Gwalior, Shivpuri and Datia, which is the northern regions will be seeing some rainfall activities. These rainfall activities are expected to continue until tomorrow. Thereafter, weather will become almost dry. However, rains will be seen over Betul, Khandwa, Hoshangabad, Mandla, Jabalpur, Balaghat, Sheoni Rewa, Siddhi, Satna, Umaria, Chhindwara.

Meanwhile, weather of Morena, Bhind, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Guna, Gwalior, and Neemuch will remain almost dry. After 48 hours, starting December 27, cold winds will start blowing over Madhya Pradesh, and rains will take a backseat over the entire state of Madhya Pradesh. Thus, minimum temperatures will also start to drop.
