Monsoon has remained subdued over the city of Bengaluru since the beginning of August. In fact, the last week of July was almost dry for the city. But now, rains have picked up pace over Bengaluru since the last four days and moderate rains are going on over the city.
Moreover, Bengaluru even topped the list of rainiest places in the country yesterday. In the last 24 hours from 8.30 am on Tuesday, Bengaluru has been the ninth most rainiest place in India with 43 mm of rainfall.
At present, an East-West Shear Zone is running along latitude 14° N. Therefore, we expect moderate rains to continue over Bengaluru and adjoining areas of South Interior Karnataka for the next two days.
So, pleasant weather conditions are likely to continue in Bengaluru for the next two days.
Thereafter, there will be a significant decrease in rain activities.
Although rains will now decrease but temperatures will not rise much. The weather will remain partly cloudy to cloudy. Day temperatures will be recorded in the range of 27 to 29 degree. So, we can say that comfortable weather is here to stay.
