A fresh Western Disturbance is approaching the Western Himalayas, which is likely to give isolated light rain and thundershower over few parts of Jammu and Kashmir by today afternoon or evening. By tomorrow, the intensity of these weather activities will increase and spread across the state of Jammu and Kashmir and parts of Himachal Pradesh.
Between April 10 and 12, we expect light to moderate rain and thundershower activities to occur over most parts of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Uttarakhand will receive isolated light rainfall activity during this period. Snowfall in the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh is a good possibility.
Although we are in the second week of April, successive Western Disturbances are still approaching the Western Himalayas, but in reduced intensity.

These Western Disturbances are also inducing cyclonic circulations over the northwestern plains. The effect of these Western Disturbances is being felt over the plains of North India in the from of dust storms, thundershowers and strong winds.
Western Disturbances will continue to affect the hills of North India for a couple of days more. Thus, we can vouch for some weather active in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
