Presently, Northeasterly winds are prevailing along the coast of Andhra Pradesh. Also, easterly winds are blowing over the interior parts of both the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Apart from these, no significant weather system is presently affecting the duo states.

However, a fresh easterly wave is likely to affect coastal parts of Andhra Pradesh around the evening of December 3 and may bring the much-awaited rain activities after a long-prevailing dry spell.

During the next 24 hours, we don’t expect any significant weather activity here. However, isolated thundershower and rain activity is possible over coastal parts of Andhra Pradesh and in the interior parts of Telangana. Morning temperatures are expected to rise marginally while no large change is day temperatures are anticipated. Light to moderate Northeasterly-easterly winds will prevail with a mainly clear to partly cloudy sky. Haze and mist are likely during the morning and evening hours.

A mainly dry weather prevailed over the states for the last many days. During this time period, day remained comfortable and nights were pleasant with a partly cloudy to cloudy sky over most places. The state of Telangana remained dry for most parts for a long period. There is no hope to break this immediately. Adilabad remained the coolest place over the two southern states with temperatures prevailing in single digits.
