The northwestern parts of the country have been witnessing sweltering weather conditions. The hills on the other hand have a Western Disturbance affecting the hilly regions and will continue for the next couple of days.
Now, rains are also coming up for the plains, particularly after 48 hours. Around June 16, we can expect Rajasthan to start witnessing rainfall activities as Biparjoy will cross coast and travel across Rajasthan. The western half will be more vulnerable than the eastern parts.
The combined effect of Western Disturbance and the weaker version of Biparjoy around June 17 and 18. As rains make an appearance over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh around the weekend, temperatures may also see a drop, giving some marginal relief from the ongoing heat.
