The state of Madhya Pradesh has been recording temperatures on the higher side for quite some time now. In fact, many parts of Madhya Pradesh have been witnessing maximum temperatures in the higher 30s. As far as southeastern parts of Uttar Pradesh are concerned, temperatures continue to remain on the normal side.
Rainfall wise, the region has remained dry for a long time now. Rains have remained absent and dry weather has been persisting over both these states. However, good news is in store for the residents of Madhya Pradesh and Southeast Uttar Pradesh.

Rain and thundershowers along with strong winds accompanied with isolated hailstorm may occur over some areas.
A cyclonic circulation lies over Jharkhand and adjoining region. An upper air trough is seen extending from this system up to northern parts of Madhya Pradesh and adjoining South Uttar Pradesh. The upcoming rains will be attributed to these weather features.
Thus, cities including Varanasi, Sonbhadra, Chandel, Mirzapur, Siddhi, Rewa, Jabalpur, Satna, Pana, and Mandla may be the ones witnessing some rainfall activities.
Other parts of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh are expected to remain dry. As far as temperatures are concerned, no major change is expected.
