The residents of Hyderabad have been witnessing dry weather conditions for quite some time now. In fact, the days have been as warm as they should be during the month of March. At present, the maximum temperature is settling at a good 34.6 degree Celsius which is close to the normal levels.
Comfortable weather conditions are ahead for the city of Nizams as rains are all set to make an appearance over the region. These weather conditions will be attributed to the development of a trough which will be extending from Interior Odisha to Karnataka via Telangana.
Moreover, southwesterly winds from Bay of Bengal will also merge with the dry and cool northwesterly winds. Thus, good rains are likely over the region on March 5 and 6. These rains will be of lighter intensity. In fact, one or two sharp spells may occur over the region.
There hasn’t been any rain for a long time. In fact, Hyderabad did not witness any rains during the month of February. So much so that the city did not witness any rainfall in the month of January as well. The month of December was also not rainy enough and the city recorded only traces of rainfall during that time.
