Now the northeasterly winds will blow over most parts of the state. Therefore, we expect the weather to become dry over the coastal and southern districts of West Bengal. But as per Skymet Weather, a cyclonic circulation is persisting over the eastern parts of Bangladesh, therefore the easterly winds will increase the moisture over Sub Himalayan West Bengal.
Hence scattered light rain will continue over the districts of Sub Himalayan West Bengal. Districts such as Coochbehar, Jalpaiguri, and Siliguri may witness some rainfall activity. However, on the other hand, the weather across Kolkata will remain dry and there not be many changes in the day and night temperatures.
