Both the cities of Mumbai as well as Pune have been witnessing dry weather conditions for the last four days. Meanwhile, the adjoining beachy vacation spot of Goa was drenched with good rains and overcast sky conditions during the long weekend.
Due to these dry days, temperatures have witnessed a rise in the city of Mumbai as well as Pune. As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, even now, dry weather conditions will continue over Mumbai for another 48 hours.

Thereafter, scattered rains are expected over Mumbai and adjoining suburbs starting October 7 until 10. One or two moderate spells are also possible during this period. However, heavy to very heavy rains are not likely which may not cause any hindrance in the normal lives of the Mumbaikars.

Meanwhile, the city of Pune may receive isolated rains on October 6. Also, these rainfall activities will witness an increase on October 7 and 8. Thereafter also, on and off light rains October 10 onward.
A trough is likely to form across Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana up to central parts of Konkan and Goa. Due to these weather features, the aforementioned areas will witness some rains. Along with this, both the day and the night temperatures will also witness a drop and comfortable weather conditions will prevail.
