The southern parts of the country have seen some good rainfall activities in the past two days. Pockets of Telangana have seen heavy rains for the second consecutive day. Even Andhra saw decent rains.
In fact, during the last 24 hours, Hyderabad recorded 86 mm of rain, Medak 80 mm, Mahbubnagar 57 mm, Nizamabad 42 mm, Valparai 42 mm, Tuni 23 mm, and Khammam 10 mm.
However, rain activities in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and South Interior Karnataka will reduce tomorrow onward. Moderate showers will continue over parts of Telangana and northern parts of Karnataka.
On the other hand, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala will be seeing heavy rains. Heavy rains may be seen around September 8 and 9 over these areas. Places along the East Coast will not see rain and even southern parts of Telangana will not see much rainfall.
