Moderate to heavy rains have occurred over many parts of Madhya Pradesh in the last 24 hours. Moreover, in the last two to three days, light to moderate rainfall has been lashing the state of Madhya Pradesh resulting in significant increase of the rainfall surplus.
As on October 10, West Madhya Pradesh is surplus by 368 percent and East Madhya Pradesh by 68 percent. These ongoing rain activities can damage the standing crops which are ready f0r harvesting. Thus, we can say that these rains are harming the farmers.
Rains will reduce over western parts of Madhya Pradesh including Ujjain, Neemuch, Parbhani, Dhar, Khandwa, Khargone, Ratlam etc. Central and eastern parts will continue to see some light to moderate rains for another 24 hours.
By October 13, activity will significantly reduce the most parts of the state and only Eastern in south-eastern parts of Madhya Pradesh may receive light rainfall activity for sometime. Weather of Madhya Pradesh will clear up completely by October 14 and Monsoon will also withdraw from most parts of the state by October 15 or 16.
